Improvised Painting, or an Abstract Painting. 2009. 910 x 760.
I did not realize of what an intellectual natureabstract painting was, or how in depth it was. Nor of the conscious, deliberate, engagement with the work one must undertake to achieve a truly abstract piece. There are a lot of mediocre artists that create "abstract" work because its easy to do, and they pass it off as "abstract" and their "style" so as an easy means to make a profit. Having now an understanding into abstraction, I believe that to create a photo real naturalistic narrative, is far easier than creating a fully abstracted, intellectual, conceptual piece that partakes in a conversation with its viewer.
